Hennessey Performance cunoscuta mai ales pentru conversiile sale la modelele Dodge Viper, ofera un unic kit de putere pentru Challenger SRT8, ce va fi disponibil la aproape 25 clienti in 2008.
Motorul V8 de 6.1-L primeste o serie de imbunatatiri ce includ marirea capacitatii la 426 c.i. ori 7.0-L. Rezultatul e o putere maxima la iesire de 725 Hp la 5,200 rpm si un cuplu de 1,016Nm (750lb-ft) la 4,000 rpm in comparatie cu motorul standard V8 de 425 CP si 420 lb.-ft. cuplu. Conform Hennessey, noul Challenger SRT700 Turbo poate sprinta de la 0 - 60 mph (96 km/h) in aprox 3.5 sec, si ajunge la ΒΌ mila in 11.3 sec la viteza de 126 mph ori 203 km/h, iar maxim poate atinge 190 mph ori 305 km/h.
